Workplace Architect

emagine Polska is seeking a highly skilled Workplace Architect to lead a complex migration of file shares to SharePoint Online. This role is essential for establishing a robust technical architecture, minimizing migration risks, and ensuring a seamless transition to production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize the target SharePoint Online architecture, information structure, governance model, and overall migration strategy.
• Validate migration readiness and define a structured, wave-based migration roadmap.
• Analyze and resolve complex migration blockers, such as long file paths, permission inheritance issues, and large file volumes.
• Design pilot migration scenarios, success criteria, testing procedures, and comprehensive cutover plans.
• Provide technical governance and mentorship to the SharePoint SME team regarding migration tooling and best practices.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online architecture.
• Extensive experience managing large-scale migrations from File Shares to SharePoint.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint governance, permissions, metadata, and compliance standards.
• Practical experience with migration tools such as ShareGate and Quest.
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
