emagine has an opportunity for you to support a large-scale Windows 11 migration for laboratory and kiosk PCs with a global team.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the workstation domain and laboratory applications.

• Strong experience in laboratory environments, including PCs, equipment, and data processing.

• Solid foundation in IT: network infrastructure, databases, software deployment, and upgrades.

• Solid experience with laboratory applications such as ACD/Labs, OpenLab, or ChemStation.

• Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and communicate effectively.

• Ability to work in a team environment, self-motivated with strong organizational skills.

• Fluent in English, French nice to have.

CONTEXT

This role covers the installation, configuration, and validation of laboratory applications on Windows 11 as part of a global workstation migration. The scope spans roughly 400 PCs across 36 sites worldwide, running through the project phase from September to November 2026. You work with laboratory applications such as ACD/Labs, OpenLab, and ChemStation, ensuring compatibility, resolving connectivity issues between PCs and lab equipment, and migrating data from Windows 10 to the new environment. The role sits within a workstation and laboratory IT domain, combining hands-on technical integration with end-user support and documentation. It suits someone comfortable coordinating directly with end users and on-site support teams while working independently on technical troubleshooting.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The role covers the full migration lifecycle for laboratory applications, from planning through to user training:

• Test and verify application compatibility with Windows 11 before rollout.

• Install and configure laboratory applications on Windows 11 PCs and produce installation documentation.

• Contact application vendors to obtain updated versions when compatibility issues arise, then install, configure, and document them.

• Fix connection issues between PCs, laboratory equipment, and the network.

• Migrate application data from Windows 10 to Windows 11 versions.

• Organize the migration plan together with end users and the on-site support team.

• Troubleshoot issues arising during the migration.

• Train end users on the migrated applications.

• Handle incidents and service requests for lab and kiosk PCs.
