Web Scraping Engineer (Remote)

Oxylabs is an enterprise-grade web data infrastructure provider, setting global standards for public web data access. We are looking for a Web Scraping Engineer to join our Web Intelligence team, where you will take ownership of building high-scale crawlers and custom data solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build high-scale crawlers, scrapers, and infrastructure capable of handling millions of requests.
• Own projects end-to-end, translating client requirements into custom solutions from scratch.
• Write functional, reusable code in Python or Go while leveraging AI-driven IDEs to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate within our data platform to ensure the seamless delivery of large-scale datasets.
• Justify technical decisions and participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Multiple years of backend development experience using Python or Go.
• Strong familiarity with web scraping fundamentals, headless browsers, and databases like PostgreSQL or BigQuery.
• High level of independence and the ability to own project delivery from start to finish.
• A business-first mindset that prioritizes speed and delivery, with comfort in receiving direct feedback.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
