[WBG] DevOps Engineer

Software Mind is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a delivery stream-aligned engineering team. You will be responsible for managing the technical platform that enables application development teams to deliver and run business systems efficiently, ensuring that our technical estate remains aligned with departmental strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Principal DevOps Engineer and other internal groups to enforce and evolve existing technical standards.
• Support delivery teams in utilizing available tooling and platform elements while upskilling them in modern development practices.
• Deliver technical life-cycling changes to ensure the development platform remains supported, capable, and evergreen.
• Assist teams in designing systems that meet non-functional requirements, focusing on reliability, robustness, and maintainability.
• Diagnose and resolve platform and tooling issues in collaboration with the Central Platforms team.

Requirements

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and cloud services capabilities.
• Knowledge of application security best practices.
• General development experience with in-house systems.
• Strong systems thinking, adaptability, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
