VP/Field CTO, GTM - Telecommunications

NewRocket is seeking a visionary VP/Field CTO to lead our growth strategy within the telecommunications sector. In this strategic, client-facing role, you will define our industry-specific offerings, architect AI-powered solutions, and serve as a thought leader to elevate our presence in the telco market.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the telecommunications industry, identifying high-value business process challenges.
• Design AI-powered solutions, including agentic AI workflows and predictive operations, tailored to telco business processes.
• Develop targeted data offerings and frameworks to address critical gaps in network, customer, and operational data domains.
• Lead executive-level engagements with C-suite and VP stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into architectural recommendations.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create compelling industry narratives, thought leadership content, and pre-sales support.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in solutions architecture, strategy consulting, or technology leadership within the telecommunications industry.
• Deep practitioner-level knowledge of core telco business processes across customer, service, network, or infrastructure domains.
• Strong architectural fluency in BSS/OSS platforms, integration patterns, and cloud-native telco architectures.
• Proven experience in architecting AI and agentic solutions, including LLM-based workflows and intelligent automation.
• Proficiency with TM Forum frameworks such as eTOM, TAM, and Open APIs for offering design and executive communication.
