VP of Product | REMOTE

Distru is the leading ERP platform for the cannabis industry, currently processing $15B in sales and evolving into a headless, AI-first enterprise solution. We are seeking our first VP of Product to lead our product department, shape our AI-driven product strategy, and scale our team as we build the next generation of all-in-one AI stacks for commercial businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product direction and strategy across the Distru ERP, Commerce, and AI product suites.
• Lead the product hiring pipeline and scale the team from 4 to 8+ members.
• Establish an operating cadence with engineering to align on roadmaps, data infrastructure, and product execution.
• Collaborate with Go-To-Market teams to drive product launches, customer education, and thought leadership.
• Foster a culture of product excellence, conviction, and innovation through hands-on mentorship and process iteration.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and running a product organization, including hiring and coaching.
• Strong technical foundation in modern SaaS and AI stacks, including data infrastructure and LLM tooling.
• Experience shipping production-grade AI features or Model Context Protocols (MCP).
• Outcome-oriented mindset with the ability to work directly with engineers on PRDs, designs, and technical details.
• Deep understanding of production system concerns such as reliability, observability, and security.
