Virtualization Backup Engineer (German Speaker)

Veeam is the Data and AI Trust Company, specializing in helping organizations ensure their data and AI are fully understood, secured, and resilient. We are currently looking for a Virtualization Backup Engineer with German language skills to join our technical support team, which acts as a vital hotline for our global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in-depth troubleshooting and analysis, including detailed log file investigation.
• Act as a technical focal point for IT professionals, providing expert guidance and support.
• Take full ownership of customer issues from initial contact through to resolution, including troubleshooting 3rd party components.
• Document all customer interactions accurately within our CRM tool while adhering to established service level agreements.

Requirements

• Fluent proficiency in both English and German, both written and spoken.
• Advanced administrative knowledge of Windows Server environments and Windows operating systems.
• Practical experience with TCP/IP networking, including firewalls, NAT, ports, DHCP, and DNS.
• Strong ability to quickly learn, explain complex technical information, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
