Video Data Collector (Insta360 X-series)

micro1 is seeking experienced Video Data Collectors to contribute to an innovative project aimed at training next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will capture high-quality, real-world video footage that helps models learn, reason, and perform more effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Capture natural first-person video footage of everyday activities using your smartphone and later transitioning to company-provided Insta360 X-series equipment.
• Operate Insta360 cameras, including setup, framing, and using 360 Studio to reframe and export footage according to specific project requirements.
• Independently identify suitable shooting locations while strictly adhering to privacy, consent, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate and record group activities when assignments require additional participants, ensuring all necessary permissions are obtained.
• Maintain high standards of data quality and reliability, communicating progress and any challenges effectively with project coordinators.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video capture or similar data collection activities with a strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Insta360 X-series cameras and proficiency in using Insta360 Studio for reframing and exporting footage.
• Reliable access to a high-quality smartphone for the initial phase of the project.
• Ability to follow complex instructions meticulously, particularly regarding privacy, consent, and metadata requirements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving project workflows and equipment.
