Video Annotation Expert

micro1 is seeking a dedicated Video Annotation Expert to join a project focused on refining AI learning capabilities. In this role, you will contribute to the development of next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world input that helps models learn, reason, and perform more effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and segment recurring events within short video clips according to specific project guidelines.
• Annotate detected events precisely by providing accurate start and end timestamps.
• Craft concise, clear, and consistent written descriptions for every annotated event.
• Ensure all annotation submissions meet strict quality and consistency standards.
• Collaborate through communication channels to clarify requirements and resolve any ambiguities.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective annotation and communication.
• Demonstrated experience in video annotation, video editing, videography, or closely related fields.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-accuracy data labeling.
• Ability to follow complex annotation guidelines and quickly adapt to feedback.
• Background in AI training projects or experience with data annotation for machine learning is considered a plus.
