The National Trust for Historic Preservation is seeking a Vice President of Growth and Development Intelligence to lead its fundraising growth strategy. This senior leadership role oversees a large-scale annual giving and membership program while managing the development operations, data, and infrastructure that support the entire division.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-year membership and annual giving strategy focused on sustainable growth and long-term donor value.
- Lead a multi-channel donor experience across digital, direct mail, and social platforms to drive revenue and engagement.
- Oversee the integration and optimization of CRM systems and technology platforms to enhance fundraising efficiency.
- Direct data strategy, analytics, and prospect development to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on annual fundraising planning, budgeting, and performance reporting.
Requirements
- Over 20 years of progressive experience in fundraising, membership, or direct marketing, with at least 12 years in senior leadership.
- Deep expertise in direct response fundraising, multi-channel campaign management, and donor behavior.
- Advanced knowledge of CRM systems, database management, and donor analytics.
- Proven ability to lead cross-divisional projects and manage geographically distributed teams.
- Strong strategic planning, budgeting, and communication skills with experience presenting to boards and executive teams.
