Tech Lead (Frontend, Vue.js) | Senior Frontend Engineer

About the Role

Consid Poland is growing! We’re looking for a Tech Lead (Frontend) and or Senior Frontend Developer with strong Vue.js expertise to be the first hire in our new frontend team in Gdańsk. This is a unique opportunity to shape the team from the ground up, define best practices, and lead the transition from Vue 2 to Vue 3 for a large-scale international e-commerce client.
👉 In the beginning, the role will be mostly remote (60–70%) with occasional office presence which is yet to be confirmed.

What You’ll Do

• Lead & mentor a new frontend team, helping establish long-term capabilities and culture.
• Drive the migration from Vue 2 to Vue 3 in a large-scale AWS environment.
• Deliver scalable, high-performing, and accessible web applications with exceptional UX.
• Take ownership of frontend architecture, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to build e-commerce workflows.
• Champion best practices and promote innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

Must-have skills

• 7–8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Previous Tech Lead or Team Lead/ Senior Frontend Developer experience (mentorship, guiding developers).
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Vue.js (v2 → v3 migration is essential)
• JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript
• Headless CMS (must-have). Contentful is preferred, but we also value experience with alternatives like Strapi, Prisma, or similar.
• Git (PR workflows), Jenkins
• REST / GraphQL APIs
• Modern frontend stack: HTML5, SCSS, BEM, Bootstrap, Webpack, Node.js, NPM
• Responsive design, accessibility, SEO, and cross-browser development

Nice-to-have / flexible skills

• Frontend unit testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of Adobe Target or similar personalization tools.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and UX collaboration.
