User Experience Designer

Akamai Technologies is seeking a talented User Experience Designer to join our team and help shape the future of enterprise and developer-facing products. You will play a pivotal role in designing intuitive, scalable experiences for complex systems, including next-generation AI infrastructure, working closely with cross-functional teams from initial concept through to final product launch.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and rapid prototyping for features, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to delivery.
• Translate complex cloud, security, and AI systems into intuitive user experiences across UI, API, CLI, and IaC interfaces.
• Create cohesive and scalable design solutions that effectively connect developer workflows with platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners, participating in design critiques to align stakeholders on optimal solutions.
• Utilize user research and data analytics to inform and validate design decisions throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience in UX/UI design within product or B2B SaaS environments.
• Demonstrated ability to design complex developer workflows, including APIs and infrastructure tools.
• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, such as model deployment and inference processes.
• Strong capability to simplify intricate systems into intuitive, scalable user experiences.
• Experience working in ambiguous or early-stage product environments, with a focus on rapid iteration.
