UICC/eUICC Expert (m/f/d)

emnify is seeking a dedicated UICC/eUICC Expert to lead the engineering, interoperability, and certification readiness of our Consumer eSIM and IoT eUICC product lines. You will play a pivotal role in managing the full product lifecycle, ensuring our eSIM solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability within the mobile ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end engineering and validation of SGP.22 and SGP.32 eSIM products, including profile design and technical specification development.
• Define and execute comprehensive certification and validation strategies using GSMA artefacts to ensure seamless interoperability across various devices and networks.
• Analyze and resolve complex cross-domain technical issues involving SIM, device, and network layers, providing detailed root cause analysis.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for remote provisioning platforms and eUICC vendors, establishing acceptance criteria for production rollouts.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including test reports and certification status updates for internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in SIM, eSIM, or eUICC engineering, validation, and certification processes.
• Deep knowledge of GSMA standards, with a specific focus on SGP.22 and SGP.32 specifications.
• Strong understanding of UICC/eUICC architecture, profile lifecycles, and Over-the-Air provisioning workflows.
• Proven ability to design and implement rigorous test strategies using industry-standard artefacts like SAIP and BAP.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate technical resolutions across multiple internal and external teams.
