Transmission Line - Senior Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join our team and contribute to high-impact projects within the renewable energy sector, including solar, battery storage, and utility interconnections.

Key responsibilities

• Direct transmission line design projects while providing technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineering staff.
• Ensure the successful execution of projects by meeting rigorous quality standards and specific client requirements.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across multiple departments to support company goals and drive overall project excellence.
• Foster innovation by exploring new technologies, challenging the status quo, and continuously seeking improvements in design efficiency.
• Lead client interactions to address technical and business questions, provide solutions, and mitigate challenges in complex project environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license with at least 8 years of experience in overhead transmission line design and engineering.
• Proven expertise in PLS-CADD modeling, structure loading, staking, foundation design, and construction specifications.
• Strong knowledge of NESC standards and transmission line design principles, including route selection and structure analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex design projects effectively.
