Transactional Attorney

Micro1 is seeking seasoned in-house transactional attorneys for a part-time, fully remote role at the forefront of legal AI. This opportunity is designed for elite legal professionals who want to shape how advanced AI models are trained, evaluated, and applied in real-world legal workflows, specifically within the technology sector.

Key responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and complex redlining exercises.
• Review and assess AI responses to various contract scenarios, providing expert feedback to improve model performance and output precision.
• Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria to assess AI performance on contract tasks with rigor and consistency.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 3 years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions, particularly negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
