Trader

Shun Shing Group is seeking an experienced Trader to join our global team and help expand our footprint in the EMEA and AMER regions. We are looking for a professional with a strong network in the cement industry who is ready to scale their portfolio within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze local and international markets to identify and capture new trading opportunities for bulk commodities.
• Secure strategic suppliers and reliable buyers while managing the full lifecycle of trade transactions.
• Coordinate with internal shipping teams and external counterparties to ensure efficient cargo handling and logistics.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, ensuring terms protect the organization's interests while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Monitor trade performance, resolve operational disputes, and provide regular market reports and business planning updates to management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in trading cement industry bulk commodities such as clinker, slag, coal, or gypsum.
• Deep knowledge of chartering, shipping operations, and dry bulk cargo logistics.
• Proven track record of successfully growing a portfolio of new products or entering new markets.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree and a self-motivated, team-oriented approach to business development.
