Tongan Bilingual Expert

micro1 is seeking Tongan Bilingual Experts to join a dynamic project focused on training next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will leverage your linguistic expertise to help models learn, reason, and perform more effectively through high-quality, real-world input.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe Tongan audio and video content into accurate written text with precise timestamps.
• Analyze and describe the emotional tone and intent of speakers across various scenarios.
• Review transcribed material for grammatical structure, clarity, and fluency in both Tongan and English.
• Define and contextualize complex or idiomatic Tongan words and expressions for non-native users.
• Provide detailed feedback on language usage, tone, and linguistic nuances present in the content.

Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in both Tongan and English, with superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience with audio/video transcription and timestamping at a professional level.
• Advanced knowledge of Tongan grammar, vocabulary, idioms, and cultural context.
• Strong attention to emotional context, tone analysis, and speaker intent within linguistic material.
• Ability to commit to at least 15 hours of engagement per week.
