Test Automation Engineer with Playwright

Billennium is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join a project for a leading healthcare organization. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining robust automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end UI and API test automation using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, including parallel execution and detailed test result reporting.
• Manage version control workflows in Git, including code reviews and enforcing automation quality standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Developers, and DevOps teams to define test strategies and ensure the testability of technical designs.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in test automation and building frameworks for web applications.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright, including fixtures, network mocking, and trace viewer.
• Advanced TypeScript/JavaScript skills with a focus on clean, maintainable test code design.
• Proven experience implementing Page Object Model patterns and API test automation for REST/GraphQL.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD integration and Git-based collaboration workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to lead QA initiatives, mentor team members, and drive automation strategy.
