Test Automation Engineer

GAINSOFT is a modern technology company focused on delivering high-quality software solutions, currently seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our Agile team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of complex software products designed for capital markets trading signals management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated tests for both API and web UI components.
• Create complex test scenarios and detailed test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Perform cyclic manual testing for exploratory purposes to identify edge cases.
• Collaborate closely with developers and the QA team within an Agile framework to define effective testing strategies.

Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional experience in Test Automation.
• Solid programming proficiency in Python and practical experience with Selenium or Playwright.
• Strong understanding of test automation design patterns, such as the Page Object Model.
• Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, version control systems like Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in working within Linux/Ubuntu environments and a B2 level of English.
