Test architect (Automation)

Cronos Europa is seeking a highly skilled Test Architect to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive automation strategy, ensuring the stability and optimization of our testing processes across the entire product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a robust automation test strategy, including the selection of tools and technologies for component and feature testing.
• Provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Guide and mentor QA Engineers to standardize testing practices, improve efficiency, and enhance overall performance.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks, ensuring code quality, re-factoring, and optimized test execution.
• Analyze performance requirements, develop test plans, and execute performance testing to validate system objectives.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in programming with Python and designing test automation frameworks using tools like Playwright or Selenium.
• Proven expertise in implementing performance testing frameworks, such as JMeter.
• Strong mathematical aptitude, analytical problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a multinational and multicultural environment while maintaining a result-driven, collaborative approach.
• Understanding of current industry trends and their application in a commercial software environment.
