Technical Writing Specialist

micro1 is seeking a skilled Technical Writing Specialist to join a writing-intensive project focused on developing high-quality developer and product documentation. In this role, you will leverage your domain expertise to synthesize complex technical concepts into clear, effective content that helps shape next-generation AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret technical source materials, such as API references and developer guides, to produce well-structured documentation.
• Create and edit high-quality technical content, including tutorials and architecture documents, for diverse audiences.
• Apply information architecture best practices to ensure documentation is organized, discoverable, and scalable.
• Implement and adhere to docs-as-code standards and editorial guidelines to maintain consistency across all deliverables.
• Evaluate existing documentation for clarity and accuracy, recommending improvements where necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience producing developer or product documentation, such as integration guides and release notes.
• Expertise in technical writing, information architecture, and editing for both technical and non-technical readers.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex concepts and communicate them in a concise, simple manner.
• Proficiency with docs-as-code workflows, including Markdown, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exceptional written English skills with a meticulous attention to detail regarding grammar and terminology.
