Technical Support Engineer I

Verisma is seeking a dedicated Technical Support Engineer I to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware problems, ensuring our clients receive prompt and accurate technical support to keep their systems fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Provide answers to IT issues via email and chat, and offer nuanced instructions for complex problems through phone or written documentation.
• Research, diagnose, and troubleshoot system issues, including account setup and network configuration.
• Own reported customer issues and ensure they are resolved through to completion within agreed time limits.
• Follow standard procedures for escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
• Document technical knowledge by creating notes and manuals to assist with future troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Up to 3 years of proven work experience in a technical support, help desk, or desktop support role.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments.
• Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and provide clear, step-by-step guidance.
• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software such as Zendesk.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
