Technical Standards Author

Experis Manpower Group is seeking a Technical Standards Author to join our team in a fully remote capacity. You will play a pivotal role in developing AI-ready and Standards-as-Code-ready technical standards, transforming complex documentation into clear, structured, and testable requirements that serve both human readers and AI-assisted workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and maintain clear, structured technical standards that are easy to navigate and implement.
• Convert narrative content into atomic, testable requirements to ensure precision.
• Define conformance rules, exceptions, and expected evidence for various technical processes.
• Create compliant and non-compliant examples along with detailed remediation guidance.
• Collaborate with technical, data, and product stakeholders to ensure all standards are practical, measurable, and effective.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical writing, standards development, or requirements analysis.
• Strong ability to translate ambiguous content into clear, testable, and actionable requirements.
• Familiarity with RFC 2119 terminology (MUST/SHOULD/MAY), acceptance criteria, or formal conformance models.
• Solid knowledge of data governance, metadata, APIs, or data quality standards.
• Experience in creating documentation optimized for both human and AI-assisted workflows.
