Technical SEO Manager - fully remote within Europe (m/f/d) Remote

JobLeads GmbH is seeking an experienced Technical SEO Manager to join our team and drive organic search growth for our global platform. In this high-ownership role, you will work at the intersection of SEO and engineering to build scalable systems, optimize search visibility, and directly influence how millions of users discover our services.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of systems for SEO at scale, including internal linking, sitemap management, and automated content optimization across millions of URLs.
• Write code and build custom tools, scripts, and dashboards to automate data collection and solve complex SEO challenges.
• Own crawl and indexation health, utilizing server access logs to build early-warning systems for anomalies and regressions.
• Diagnose and optimize page speed by analyzing network, rendering, and server layers to ensure peak performance.
• Act as a technical bridge between SEO and engineering teams, translating complex requirements into clear specifications and architectural decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical SEO with a proven track record of driving organic growth on large-scale sites.
• Proficiency in coding (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or PHP) to build automations and custom tools.
• Deep understanding of web architecture, including HTTP, networking, CDNs, caching, and modern JS frameworks.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interrogate large datasets and build actionable reports.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with developers, product managers, and leadership.
