Technical Quality Assurance Manager

Bromcom Computers Plc is seeking a Technical QA Manager to lead the technical direction, governance, and continual improvement of quality engineering across our delivery areas. This role is pivotal in defining our overarching test strategy and ensuring that quality engineering practices are practical, risk-based, and fully integrated throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define, communicate, and maintain the organizational test strategy and quality engineering standards.
• Provide technical leadership to QA Champions and Test Automation Engineers regarding framework design, coding standards, and CI/CD integration.
• Ensure automated test execution is embedded into delivery pipelines to provide fast, reliable, and actionable feedback.
• Align functional, integration, and non-functional testing with product and technical delivery risks.
• Strengthen developer ownership of testing while providing appropriate governance and coaching.

Requirements

• Strong experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and quality engineering.
• Proven ability to define, implement, and govern testing strategies in complex environments.
• Demonstrable experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical coding capability in an object-oriented language such as C# or Java.
• Experience designing or significantly improving maintainable test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with modern automation tools like Playwright or Selenium.
