About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Lead / Technical Project Manager to drive the end-to-end technical delivery of large-scale 4G/5G Core Network projects, with a strong focus on Subscriber Data Management (SDM) solutions.

In this role, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with project leadership, ensuring successful delivery from planning through deployment. You will coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, manage project milestones, support technical decision-making, and serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of telecom core network projects within the 4G/5G domain.

• Manage project scope, timelines, technical milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.

• Coordinate deployment, integration, testing, and upgrade activities across engineering teams.

• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day guidance to deployment and integration engineers.

• Act as the primary technical interface for customers, partners, and key stakeholders.

• Support project planning, effort estimation, solution sizing, and resource allocation.

• Drive technical discussions and resolve complex deployment and integration challenges.

• Oversee the implementation, integration, and upgrade of Subscriber Data Management (SDM) solutions and core network elements.

• Ensure projects are delivered in line with quality standards, customer requirements, and agreed timelines.

• Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, project reports, and delivery updates.

• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across technical teams.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a Technical Project Lead, Technical Project Manager, or similar leadership role.

• Strong experience delivering projects within Subscriber Data Management (SDM) or telecom core network solutions.

• Solid understanding of 4G and 5G Core Network architecture, Packet Core, and subscriber data management.

• Deep knowledge of 4G/5G call flows and related technologies, including VoLTE, VoWiFi, and IoT.

• Hands-on experience with the installation, integration, upgrade, and troubleshooting of SDM network elements.

• Experience working with one or more of the following technologies:

  • SDL

  • AUSF

  • UDM

  • HSS/HLR

  • EIR

  • MNP

• Experience with project estimation, effort sizing, resource planning, and technical delivery management.

• Proven ability to manage project milestones and coordinate cross-functional teams.

• Strong customer-facing experience and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Experience delivering cloud-native telecom solutions.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, VMware, or OpenShift.

• Experience working with international telecom operators or multi-vendor environments.

• Relevant certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) or telecom technologies.
