Technical Product Manager

Bjak is building a Neobank Superapp for Southeast Asia, aiming to help people manage their money through smarter spending, saving, and investing. We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to own a product vertical end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap to the technical design and delivery of complex financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own a product vertical end-to-end, including metrics, backlog prioritization, and defining clear acceptance criteria.
• Shape technical design in collaboration with engineering, focusing on system boundaries, money-movement correctness, scalability, and security.
• Make difficult trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, and user experience while defending decisions to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Integrate regulated constraints such as licensing, KYC, and transaction monitoring as first-class product inputs.
• Apply AI strategically to improve outcomes, ensuring features are reliable, auditable, and trusted.

Requirements

• Significant experience owning complex technical products end-to-end with strong judgment under ambiguity.
• Solid technical foundation in system design, including familiarity with APIs, datastores, and failure modes.
• Experience in a regulated or high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, or insurance.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and a realistic understanding of AI capabilities and limitations.
• Strong communication skills in English, as it is our primary working language.
