Technical Product Manager - AI Finance

BJAK is building an AI-powered Finance Superapp for Southeast Asia, covering payments, insurance, wealth, and trading. We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to own a product vertical end-to-end, ensuring our financial systems are reliable, secure, and innovative.

Key responsibilities

• Own a product vertical end-to-end, including strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery.
• Shape technical design with engineering, focusing on APIs, data flows, ledgering, and scalability.
• Drive trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory requirements.
• Build regulatory compliance into the product, including KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy.
• Apply AI strategically with clear evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight.
• Align cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Finance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience with complex technical products.
• Strong technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience in regulated domains such as payments, banking, remittance, or trading.
• Ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs alongside engineers.
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including reliability and evaluation frameworks.
• Strong product judgment and ability to navigate complex operational constraints.
