Technical Product Lead - AI Neobank

BJAK is building an AI-native Neobank Superapp for Southeast Asia, covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. We are looking for a Technical Product Lead to own a product vertical end-to-end, ensuring our financial services are reliable, secure, and innovative.

Key responsibilities

• Own a product vertical end-to-end, including strategy, metrics, roadmap, and delivery.
• Shape technical design with engineering, focusing on APIs, data flows, ledgering, and system scalability.
• Drive trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, and regulatory requirements.
• Integrate regulatory needs such as KYC, transaction monitoring, and privacy into the product lifecycle.
• Apply AI strategically with clear evaluation frameworks, safeguards, and human oversight.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, specifically with complex technical products.
• Strong technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Proven experience in payments, banking, remittance, or other regulated, high-consequence domains.
• Ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs alongside engineering teams.
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including understanding reliability and failure modes.
