Technical Product Lead - AI Finance

Bjak is building an AI-powered Finance Superapp for Southeast Asia, covering payments, insurance, wealth, and trading. We are looking for a Technical Product Lead to own a product vertical end-to-end, ensuring our systems are reliable, secure, and innovative.

Key responsibilities

• Own a product vertical from strategy and metrics to roadmap and delivery.
• Shape technical design in collaboration with engineering, focusing on APIs, data flows, and system scalability.
• Drive complex trade-offs between speed, reliability, regulatory compliance, and user experience.
• Integrate regulatory requirements such as KYC and transaction monitoring directly into product architecture.
• Implement AI solutions with clear evaluation frameworks, human oversight, and robust failure handling.
• Align cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Finance to ensure successful product launches.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, specifically with complex technical products.
• Strong technical foundation in system architecture, distributed systems, and API design.
• Proven experience in regulated domains like payments, banking, or insurance.
• Ability to review and contribute to technical designs alongside engineering teams.
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, with a focus on reliability and evaluation.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to navigate operational and regulatory constraints.
