Technical Producer (PST Overlap)

Appliscale is looking for a Technical Producer to join the Data Foundations Business Operations Team. In this role, you will provide structure and momentum to cross-cutting priorities, ensuring that our operational rhythms and high-priority initiatives are executed with precision and clarity.

Key responsibilities

• Own the work system for the Data Foundations portfolio, driving execution, reporting, and visibility for high-priority initiatives.
• Establish and maintain a financial operating rhythm, providing leadership with real-time views of budgets, projected spend, and contract commitments.
• Facilitate internal rituals, including All Hands meetings and leadership forums, ensuring clear outcomes and disciplined follow-through.
• Manage vendor relationships by tracking performance, supporting contract renewals, and improving overall portfolio management.
• Address emerging, ambiguous, and high-leverage problems by bringing structure and momentum to the organization.

Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in technical production, operations management, or a closely related field.
• Proven track record in running organizational operating rhythms, including financial, resource, or vendor management.
• Ability to navigate technical conversations with engineers, effectively communicating risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
• Experience working within large, distributed organizations with complex cross-organizational dependencies.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and project management tooling such as Jira, with a focus on outcome-based tracking.
