Technical Lead Power BI

KUBO Poland is seeking a Technical Lead specializing in Power BI to join a project within the media sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing advanced Business Intelligence solutions and providing technical leadership to the development team.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and developing robust semantic models, reports, and comprehensive Power BI solutions.
• Building data models using dbt and Snowflake while implementing business logic at the appropriate architectural layer.
• Optimizing models, queries, and reports to ensure high performance and troubleshooting production issues.
• Conducting code reviews, maintaining high quality standards, and mentoring team members to foster professional growth.
• Automating development, testing, and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and scripting tools.

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in developing production-grade Business Intelligence solutions.
• Advanced practical knowledge of Power BI, Power BI Service, DAX, and semantic modeling.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with dbt and cloud data platforms like Snowflake.
• Solid understanding of the development lifecycle, including Git, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
• Practical experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell and working with APIs.
