Technical Lead– Networking, RF & SD-WAN Technologies with Italian

Movate is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to oversee enterprise networking, RF technologies, and SD-WAN operations. In this role, you will lead technical troubleshooting, mentor engineering teams, and drive excellence in complex wireless and routing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical troubleshooting and manage complex escalations for L1/L2 engineering teams.
• Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis and support lab replication for bug identification.
• Mentor team members, conduct one-on-ones, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to improve processes and documentation.
• Manage client expectations through transparent communication and effective problem-solving.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in enterprise networking, RF technologies, and SD-WAN/SD-Branch architectures.
• Strong expertise in BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, and packet flow analysis using Wireshark.
• Deep knowledge of RF propagation, interference analysis, and high-density wireless deployments.
• Fluent proficiency in English (B2) and at least one of the following: German, French, or Spanish.
• Strong leadership mindset with proven experience in mentoring and technical guidance.
