Technical Advisor

Altimi is a technology acceleration partner with over 20 years of experience, specializing in delivering software development projects for international clients. We are currently seeking an independent Technical Advisor to provide ongoing technical assurance for a custom software project in the travel and hospitality industry, developed by an external vendor.

Key responsibilities

• Review proposed architecture for business scalability and identify potential technical debt.
• Assess data models, module boundaries, and business logic placement.
• Evaluate integration strategies, data migration processes, and system resilience.
• Establish and monitor standards for security, testing, logging, and documentation.
• Document risks and provide actionable recommendations to ensure system maintainability and vendor independence.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of technical experience in roles such as Software Architect, Principal Engineer, or CTO.
• Proven track record in technical due diligence, code reviews, and auditing large-scale business systems.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, application security, and API integrations.
• Experience managing data migrations and evaluating systems built by external teams.
• Ability to work independently and objectively challenge vendor recommendations.
