Tech Lead (Payments & Cards) | YAPEAL

Bee Talents is partnering with YAPEAL, a Swiss-regulated fintech, to find a Tech Lead for their Payments & Cards division. YAPEAL is an API-first platform building modern financial infrastructure, and they are looking for a technical leader to own the direction of their core card and payment systems while remaining hands-on in development.

Key responsibilities

• Defining the technical direction for card and payment products in collaboration with product teams and partners.
• Designing and building card issuance, authorization, and settlement systems.
• Owning real-time transaction processing flows and ensuring high system reliability.
• Leading architecture decisions within distributed, API-first environments.
• Staying hands-on in Go development and actively contributing to production systems.

Requirements

• Strong experience in fintech, payments, or card systems.
• Hands-on professional experience with Go.
• Background in distributed systems and API-first architectures.
• Experience with real-time transaction processing or high-reliability systems.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of the card lifecycle, including authorization, clearing, and settlement.
