Tech Lead (.NET & React)

About project:

We are looking for a Tech Lead for our multinational client, who specializes in developing marketplaces and systems aimed at lowering the costs of IT products. They emphasize transparency, price comparison, and real-time delivery options.

This is a 1-year project with a high likelihood of extension!

Responsibilities:

• As Tech Lead you will be building and migrating data-heavy web features end-to-end on the new platform, ensuring seamless transition from legacy components to scalable, modern solutions;
• You will be developing APIs and backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core, aligning implementations with a service-oriented architecture and clean separation of concerns;
• You will be developing frontend components using modern JavaScript technologies, ensuring responsive, maintainable, and user-friendly interfaces;
• You will be working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, designing efficient database schemas, defining optimal data access patterns, and leveraging ORM frameworks where appropriate to ensure maintainability and performance;
• You will be contributing to cloud-native delivery in environments such as Azure and Kubernetes, supporting infrastructure and deployment practices aligned with Infrastructure as Code principles;
• You will be supporting reliability and scalability in a distributed setup, ensuring services remain performant, fault-tolerant, and production-ready;
• You will be owning the technical approach for key migration areas, defining architectural patterns, standards, and trade-offs to ensure long-term sustainability of the platform;
• You will be mentoring engineers and removing technical blockers, ensuring consistent quality through code reviews, architectural alignment, and knowledge sharing;
• You will be coordinating with stakeholders, balancing technical direction with business priorities to keep delivery on track and reduce implementation risks.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building data-heavy web applications, ensuring you can design performant systems that handle complex data workloads;
• 2+ years of experience in a Team Lead or technical leadership role, enabling you to guide engineers, make architectural decisions, and support delivery execution;
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET Core, enabling you to build scalable backend services and modern APIs;
• Strong hands-on experience with React, allowing you to develop dynamic and maintainable user interfaces;
• Experience in team and project coordination, enabling you to align technical execution with timelines, scope, and stakeholder expectations;
• Solid understanding of database design using SQL or NoSQL technologies and ORM frameworks, ensuring efficient data modeling and clean data access layers;
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, allowing you to build and deploy cloud-native applications;
• Familiarity with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and infrastructure-as-code practices, ensuring your solutions are scalable and aligned with modern architectural standards;
• Experience with migration from monolithic systems to cloud-based architectures, enabling smooth transformation of legacy systems into modular, scalable services.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Blazor, supporting frontend or hybrid application development in .NET-based environments.
