Tech Lead (FinTech/Reg&Compliance)

Korn Ferry is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to join an AI-native RegTech scale-up. You will lead a small team of engineers in developing a GenAI-powered regulatory change management platform designed for banks and FinTechs, ensuring high-quality delivery and robust engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small team hands-on by designing systems, writing code, and conducting thorough code reviews for Node.js and Python environments.
• Own the AWS infrastructure, including RDS, S3 encryption, and Cognito identity management, while implementing secure LLM-integration patterns.
• Safeguard system explainability, tenant isolation, and audit-trail integrity to meet the strict requirements of regulated customers.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to ensure technical direction aligns with business goals and regulatory needs.
• Mentor the team to improve their understanding of the data model and system architecture, driving a significant increase in delivery speed.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a senior engineer with full-stack proficiency across both back-end and front-end technologies.
• Proven expertise in AI development, including custom LLMs, agent building, and enterprise-grade LLM-API integration.
• Strong background in AWS services and a deep instinct for secure, multi-tenant, and regulated-workload design.
• Data-literate mindset with the ability to analyze complex information and reach accurate conclusions before implementation.
• Demonstrated leadership through delivery, earning trust by consistently producing high-quality, correct code.
