Team Lead of DevOps Team

Acaisoft is seeking an experienced DevOps Tech Lead to join a project focused on building a cloud-native data lakehouse platform for a global financial services company. This hands-on leadership role involves owning the platform infrastructure end-to-end, providing technical guidance to the team, and collaborating directly with client stakeholders to deliver a robust, high-volume data processing solution.

Key responsibilities

• Leading the deployment of the platform into the client's AWS environment while coordinating with infrastructure, security, and identity teams.
• Building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines for build, image publishing, and deployment processes.
• Integrating platform services with the client's corporate OIDC identity provider and mapping directory groups to specific roles.
• Configuring complex networking, TLS certificates, workload identities, secrets management, and KMS encryption.
• Setting up and maintaining comprehensive observability using Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, and Loki.

Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering, with a proven track record as a Tech Lead or technical point of contact.
• Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services such as EKS, networking, IAM, S3, and KMS in production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, Helm, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Experience working with data-intensive platforms, including technologies like Kafka, Spark, Flink, Airflow, or Iceberg.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions and manage client expectations effectively.
