Team Lead (Java)

CDQ is a product company building a sophisticated Master Data Management platform. We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to guide a small, focused team of 3-5 engineers, balancing people leadership with hands-on technical expertise in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for the professional development of team members through regular feedback and mentoring.
• Organizing team workflows, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress toward project goals.
• Providing technical leadership, defining architectural standards, and ensuring high code quality.
• Collaborating with the Head of Software Development and Operations on strategic processes and technology decisions.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.

Requirements

• Several years of professional backend development experience using modern Java technologies.
• Proven experience in leading, mentoring, or coordinating engineering teams.
• Strong proficiency in Java 21, Spring Boot, and SQL.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ and database technologies like MongoDB.
• Fluency in both Polish and English (C1 level).
