Team Lead (Java)

CDQ is a product company building a sophisticated Master Data Management platform. We are looking for an experienced Team Lead (Java) to guide a small, focused team, ensuring high technical quality while fostering the professional growth of our engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for the development of team members through regular feedback and coaching.
• Organizing team workflows, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress toward goals.
• Providing technical leadership and making key architectural decisions for the product.
• Defining and enforcing high standards for code quality and technical procedures.
• Collaborating with other leaders to influence department-wide strategy and operations.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on backend development experience using modern Java technologies.
• Proven experience in leading, mentoring, or coordinating a team of engineers.
• Strong proficiency in Java 21, Spring Boot, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and SQL.
• Ability to define and enforce architectural and procedural standards.
• Professional proficiency in both Polish and English (C1 level).
