Team Lead Data Engineer

Social Discovery Group is a global leader in social discovery, uniting millions of users through innovative platforms that transform virtual intimacy into the new normal. We are currently seeking a Team Lead Data Engineer to join our international, fully remote team of professionals dedicated to building impactful products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Python-based services for marketing partner integration and data acquisition.
• Create and maintain robust data workflows using Airflow.
• Design and refine reports and dashboards using SSRS and SuperSet.
• Manage SQL DWH components and develop stored procedures.
• Lead the migration of marketing data pipelines from MS SQL to Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery.

Requirements

• Proven management experience leading a small engineering team.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including window functions, subqueries, and complex joins.
• At least one year of professional experience with Python.
• Solid understanding of query optimization techniques.
• Experience with MSSQL, SSRS, Superset, and cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
