Systems Engineer - Senior

SOFTSWISS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our Sportsbook team. You will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and evolving the robust infrastructure that powers our high-performance online sports betting platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes platforms using Cluster API across both bare-metal and cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure for production and staging environments while ensuring high availability.
• Implement and manage GitLab CI pipelines, GitOps workflows, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Collaborate closely with product development teams and stakeholders to design complex, scalable IT systems.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in System Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Deep expertise in Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Extensive practical experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms like AWS or GCP, and bare-metal infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane.
• Strong knowledge of GitOps methodologies, configuration management systems like Ansible or Saltstack, and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience managing PostgreSQL clusters and Kafka environments.
