System Support Engineer - AI Supercomputers (junior/mid)

ALTEN Polska is a global leader in engineering and IT services, supporting technological transformation across diverse industries. We are currently seeking a System Support Engineer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and optimization of advanced AI supercomputing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues across advanced bare-metal hardware, Linux operating systems, and networking environments.
• Analyzing installation logs, OS-level metrics, and orchestration environments to identify root causes of AI cluster deployment failures.
• Collaborating with hardware engineering teams to escalate and resolve issues related to BIOS, BMC, PCIe, and network switches.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting failures within automated CI/CD processes.

Requirements

• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills with at least 2 years of professional experience.
• Solid knowledge of IP networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Experience in hardware and firmware troubleshooting, specifically with bare-metal servers, BIOS, and BMC systems.
• Strong analytical capabilities, including effective ticket handling and log analysis.
• English proficiency at a B2 level or higher.
