NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated and creative System Software Engineering Intern to join the GPU Software team. This role offers the opportunity to work with some of the most talented engineers in the industry, contributing to cutting-edge developments in GPU software, game engine profiling, and high-performance computing.
Key responsibilities
- Profile game engines, such as UE5, and utilize these frameworks to enhance game performance for cloud-based GPUs.
- Conduct GPU Pre-Silicon and Post-Silicon performance profiling and tuning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system-level software performance.
- Engage in complex system-level debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD degree in an engineering or computer science-related discipline.
- Strong technical background with proficiency in C, C++, and scripting languages like Perl or Python.
- Knowledge of Graphics Rendering APIs such as DX11 or DX12.
- Familiarity with computer system architecture, including microprocessors, caches, buses, and memory controllers.
- Experience with virtualized environments, virtual machines, or Docker is considered a significant asset.
