System Analyst (Map software)

Harvey Nash Technology is seeking a skilled System Analyst to join a project focused on complex map software solutions. You will play a critical role in documenting intricate data systems and ensuring technical clarity for both human teams and AI-driven tools.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed technical documentation of existing complex map solutions and data systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand data models, APIs, schemas, and publishing pipelines.
• Translate complex software and semantic concepts into clear, structured, and technically accurate documentation.
• Identify and resolve gaps, ambiguities, or inconsistencies in existing technical specifications.
• Design and maintain information architecture and documentation standards that scale with product evolution.

Requirements

• Proven experience with digital map or navigation solutions.
• Strong background in software or system analysis and technical documentation creation.
• In-depth understanding of software architectures, data models, APIs, schemas, and data flows.
• Excellent interviewing and consulting skills to extract knowledge from subject-matter experts.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of initiatives, and communicate fluently in English.
