System Administrator (Linux) in the EU

Andersen is seeking a skilled System Administrator (Linux) to join our team and support a government digital platform. You will be responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of Linux-based infrastructure and containerized environments, ensuring high availability for critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring the stable, secure, and continuous operation of infrastructure and applications.
• Administering Linux environments, specifically SUSE 12/15.
• Operating and maintaining Docker environments and application clusters.
• Monitoring systems, performing performance analysis, and managing technical incidents.
• Administering databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Linux System Administrator.
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems, monitoring, logging, and performance analysis.
• Solid knowledge of Docker and DevOps principles.
• Basic understanding of IT security practices and system hardening.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English and Intermediate level of German.
