Supply Chain Manager

ScaleJet is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a fast-growing DTC footwear brand specializing in minimalist and barefoot shoes. In this fully remote role, you will take full ownership of inventory and logistics operations, ensuring seamless execution across purchasing, freight management, and 3PL coordination to support the company's continued growth and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders based on sales projections and maintain inventory health across approximately 500 SKUs.
• Coordinate inbound logistics from China to the US, including sourcing freight quotes and managing relationships with forwarders.
• Oversee the relationship with the 3PL partner to ensure efficient warehouse receiving and fulfillment processes.
• Develop and maintain SOPs while leveraging AI tools and modern software to automate manual workflows.
• Monitor stock levels proactively to prevent stockouts and optimize inventory turnover.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or inventory operations, ideally within a DTC or e-commerce environment.
• Proven experience managing purchase orders with China-based manufacturers and handling China-US freight operations.
• Strong systems-thinking mindset with a focus on process optimization and automation.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
• Proficiency in inventory management tools and advanced spreadsheet analysis.
