SOS Children’s Villages is seeking an experienced consultant or team to strengthen innovation capacities across its global federation. This consultancy focuses on reviewing the existing Innovation Playbook, developing a comprehensive virtual training programme, and designing a concept for a 2027 programme innovation challenge.
Key responsibilities
- Review and adapt the existing Innovation Playbook and IES Scalability Pathway to create a practical, virtual capacity-building curriculum.
- Facilitate highly interactive virtual training sessions for 20–60 programme colleagues from 15–20 Member Associations.
- Develop a detailed concept for a 2027 Programme Innovation Challenge, including processes, phases, and implementation templates.
- Ensure training materials are accessible, practical, and tailored to diverse organisational and cultural contexts.
- Provide a final report summarizing learning outcomes, participant feedback, and recommendations for future innovation initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in innovation for social development, including human-centred design and lean innovation.
- Proven expertise in designing and facilitating engaging, virtual adult-learning programmes.
- Strong ability to translate complex innovation concepts into accessible, practical methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with proficiency in using collaborative digital tools.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French or Spanish is considered an asset.
