Strategy & Business Analysis Specialist

micro1 is seeking a Strategy & Business Analysis Specialist to join a project focused on assessing and elevating the performance of advanced AI models. In this role, you will leverage your professional domain expertise to train next-generation systems by creating high-quality, real-world business deliverables that help models learn, reason, and perform at an executive level.

Key responsibilities

• Design and author complex strategy and analysis tasks that simulate real-world business challenges using multi-file inputs.
• Create gold-standard deliverables, including PowerPoint board decks, investment committee memos, and robust Excel financial models.
• Establish analytical frameworks using MECE structures and defensible recommendations for various business scenarios.
• Develop detailed evaluation rubrics to assess AI model outputs regarding structure, accuracy, and executive-readiness.
• Identify and document common failure modes in strategy communication, such as logical inconsistencies or unsupported figures.

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate strategy.
• Proven track record of owning board-level decks, strategy recommendations, or investment committee memos.
• Expertise in building financial models from scratch in Excel, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Mastery of structured problem-solving approaches and executive communication best practices.
• Exceptional written English skills with the ability to produce polished, executive-facing content.
