Strategic Project Lead (PCB & Embedded Design)

micro1 is the end-to-end human data infrastructure behind AGI, powering the breakthroughs that move frontier AI models forward. As a Strategic Projects Lead, you will serve as the primary point of contact for top AI Lab customers, managing teams of highly skilled Electrical and Electronics Engineering experts to train advanced AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end, ensuring top AI Lab clients receive high-quality results and are fully satisfied with the deliverables.
• Manage and optimize complex, domain-specific data pipelines with a focus on PCB design, power electronics, and embedded systems.
• Lead teams of Human Data Managers and subject-matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and operational scalability.
• Communicate directly with AI Labs, acting as a trusted technical partner and providing executive-level insights on project performance.
• Define, track, and optimize key performance indicators across expert-driven workflows to improve overall efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on background in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, including PCB design, schematic capture, layout, and simulation.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as KiCad, SpiceBridge, or similar PCB design and simulation software.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or project ownership role managing technical teams and complex workflows.
• Exceptional soft skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity startup environment.
